Arch Manning Named Frontrunner in 2025 for Heisman Award

NCAA OrangeAs college football prepares to kick off August 23rd with week 0, the league is already buzzing, anticipating Arch Manning’s first season as the starting quarterback at Texas.

Manning has been at Texas for two years but has played behind Quinn Ewers. Although he has posted modest stats when he was able to play, Manning still has a lot to prove. Last year, Manning was able to start a couple of games and ended the year with a 67.8% completion rate. He also rushed for 108 yards on 25 carries for the season.

Texas had one of the most explosive offenses in the country last year, and with Arch Manning taking control, his production numbers are expected to skyrocket.

Arch’s uncle Peyton told the media, “The fact that this will be Arch’s third year in that system, he’ll have great knowledge of the system — still hasn’t had on-the-field game reps as I’m sure he would have liked, but those will come this year.”
