The United Football League (UFL) is looking to build on its inaugural season’s successes and bring its brand of American football to more fans in 2025.
The second season under the UFL moniker will kick off March 28th when the St. Louis Battlehawks travel to Texas to take on the Houston Roughnecks. This season will be a little different with the addition of Friday games. Media conglomerates ESPN, ABC, and FOX will air all UFL games again.
The 2025 UFL season will include a 10-week regular-season schedule, followed by Conference Championship games and the UFL Championship on Saturday, June 14th. Tickets for regular-season games are now available online.
Betting On UFL Games
Betting on UFL games has become an integral part of the game, with online sites consistently offering futures and game lines. While some fans find that betting on the games is riskier since the players are debatably not as good as NFL players, others see the odds more favorable as only eight teams are in play.
Last year, the Birmingham Stallions won the UFL Championship over the San Antonio Brahmas with a score of 25-0. The Stallions have also won two consecutive USFL championships before the XFL and USFL merged in 2023.
Below are some of the current futures offered at Bovada’s online sportsbook.
UFL Championship Game Winner 2025
- Birmingham Stallions +150
- Louis BattleHawks +325
- San Antonio Brahmas +525
- DC Defenders +575
- Michigan Panthers +700
- Arlington Renegades +1100
- Memphis Showboats +1500
- Houston Roughnecks +1800
Should I Bet On The Stallions To Win The UFL Championship?
Betting on the Stallions is a good bet, considering their dominance over the last three spring football seasons. Based on preseason odds, the Stallions are also favored to win the 2025 Championship.
The Stallions list Case Cookus as the quarterback, but the team is pursuing the resignation of Alex McGough (quarterback, wide receiver), who would likely take the quarterback1 position. McGough was the quarterback last season for the Stallions, and if his new deal is finalized, he will likely be in the backfield again for another season.
Other teams worth betting on besides the Stallions are the St. Louis BattleHawks (+325) and the San Antonio Brahmas (+525).
The BattleHawks have great local support, and if the team rallies behind the fans, they could pose a postseason threat. The Brahmas were mediocre last year but made a deep postseason run and will be looking to capitalize on unfinished business.
