After one week of play in the 2025 UFL Season, there have already been some upsets that have caused oddsmakers to recalculate their championship projections.
The Birmingham Stallions are the reigning UFL Champions, and the top football betting sites had them featured as the most likely team to go all the way in the preseason.
The Stallions’ odds to win the UFL Championship were set at +225 before Week 1, but they’ve dropped to +225 following their Week 1 loss to DC.
UFL Week 1 Recap
Battlehawks (1-0) 31
Roughnecks (0-1) 6
Houston continues to struggle in 2025, losing in humiliating fashion to St. Louis. Roughnecks quarterbacks Nolan Henderson and Anthony Brown failed to top 100 yards passing combined.
Brahmas (0-1) 9
Renegades (1-0) 33
San Antonio didn’t put up much of a fight against Arlington. Renegades running back Kalen Ballage had a solid game in the backfield, toting the ball 9 times for 110 yards and a 77-yard touchdown scamper.
Panthers (1-0) 26
Showboats (0-1) 12
The Panthers picked up where they left off last year with an impressive win over Memphis. Michigan quarterback Bryce Perkins was incredibly efficient, completing 16 out of 19 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown.
Stallions (0-1) 11
Defenders (1-0) 18
This game was tight at halftime, but a late 4th quarter touchdown for D.C. gave them enough separation for the win. The Stallions were unable to score in the second half.
UFL Week 2 Betting Lines
Birmingham Stallions @ Michigan Panthers
Spread – Stallions -1.5, Panthers +1.5
Total – 38.5
Moneyline – Stallions -130, Panthers +110
Can Birmingham rebound in Week 2 and get back on track? The Stallions are favored by a point-and-a-half on the road against Michigan, but we like the Panthers to cover and possibly win.
Memphis Showboats @ D.C. Defenders
Spread – Memphis +8.0, D.C. -8.0
Total – 37.0
Moneyline – Memphis +310, D.C. -395
The Defenders are favored by over a touchdown at home against Memphis this weekend. D.C. is one of the best teams in the UFL, and they are due for an offensive explosion after their tough matchup with Birmingham in Week 1.
Houston Roughnecks @ Arlington Renegades
Spread – Houston +8.5, Arlington -8.5
Total – 39.0
Moneyline – Houston +350, Arlington -455
Arlington and Coach Stoops entered Week 1 prepared to play, and look to carry that momentum into this weekend’s contest against Houston, who could be the worst team in the league. We expect Arlington to cover.
San Antonio Brahmas @ St. Louis Battlehawks
Spread – San Antonio +7.0, St. Louis -7.0
Total – 39.5
Moneyline – San Antonio +280, St. Louis -355
The Battlehawks are favored by a TD against San Antonio. The Brahmas made it to the UFL Championship Game last season, but they’re now in danger of falling into an 0-2 hole to begin their 2025 campaign.
