The 2023-24 NFL season could represent the final run for the core offense of the Tennessee Titans. Veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill is poised to begin what is likely his last campaign before turning over the reigns to either rookie Will Levis or Malik Willis.
Running back Derrick Henry may have his sights set on Canton, Ohio’s NFL Hall of Fame, but he was being shopped by the Titans this offseason. Henry will become an unrestricted free agent once his contract expires at the end of this season, and he is unlikely to re-up with the team unless he agrees to a significant hometown discount.
Adding to the offensive mix in 2023 is wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. He was signed in the offseason after being released from the Arizona Cardinals.
During his three years in AZ, Hopkins only played in every game once. In 2021 and 2022, he suited up for 10 and 9 games, respectively. If the Titans can get 17 games out of Hopkins this year, he could approach his 2020 numbers (115 receptions, 1,407 yards, 8 touchdowns).
With that said, the overs in all three of the following NFL bets are appealing. Again, it all depends on how many snaps Hopkins can get in.
DeAndre Hopkins Total Receiving TDs
- Over 4.5 -120
- Under 4.5 -110
DeAndre Hopkins Total Receiving Yards
- Over 850.5 -115
- Under 850.5 -115
DeAndre Hopkins Total Receptions
- Over 80.5 +120
- Under 80.5 -160
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the new darlings of the AFC South, according to most online NFL betting sites. The Titans have won the division two out of the last three seasons, narrowly dropping the crown last year even though Tannehill was injured for much of it.

In prior seasons, Tennessee has been among the AFC’s elite franchises as long as Tannehill was healthy. The Titans enter 2023 with a healthy Tannehill, and the front office signed him one of the best targets of the modern era.
Things should be looking up, but the odds are implying otherwise. Now is the time to bet on the Tennessee Titans if you do not share the same viewpoint as the oddsmakers.
