Is It Smart To Bet To Wager On NFL Futures?
For seasoned bettors, futures offer great value but are also very risky. While some of the smartest bets in the history of betting on sports have come from futures, generally, bets are only smart if they yield winnings.
From our personal experience, our team likes to bet on futures with multiple bets and small amounts. For example, if I were to bet on the NFL Super Bowl futures with the line above, I would wager $20 on the Eagles, $20 on the Chiefs, and $20 on the Ravens. If any of those teams were to win the Super Bowl, I would get my money back and then some.
However, I would also wager on the Conference’s future odds by putting down $10 or $20 on the top two teams from the division I wish to bet on. I would also avoid parlays as they add more risk to the bets.
