Four Thursday Night Games Up For College Football And NFL Betting

A four-game slate of live football will air tonight on cable television and streaming platforms. All four games feature betting lines at our favorite online football betting sites, with kickoff times ranging from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.

All but one of the contests features a point spread of three or less, indicating that these games should be competitive. Up first is a look at what’s being offered for NFL betting on Thursday Night Football.

Thursday Night Football NFL Betting

If the season were to end today, the Pittsburgh Steelers would qualify for the NFL Playoffs as the 6th seed. Current AFC North odds project the Baltimore Ravens as the division winners. AFC futures place the Steelers outside of the top seven teams, suggesting they’ll most likely miss the NFL Playoffs this season.

The Tennessee Titans are also outside of the top seven forecasted finishers in the AFC.  At 3-4, they are three games back of the division-leading Jacksonville Jaguars, but they have room for hope after rookie quarterback Will Levis dazzled last week.

In a winning effort against the Atlanta Falcons, Levis threw for 238 yards and four touchdowns. Tonight at 8:15 PM on Amazon Prime, oddsmakers are projecting that Levis will cool off and lose by three in Pittsburgh.

Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Point Spread: Titans +3.0, Steelers -3.0
  • Moneyline Odds: Titans +130, Steelers -150
  • Over/Under: 37.0

We are betting on the Titans to cover and another solid performance from Will Levis.

Thursday Night College Football Betting

College football betting sites have posted lines for all three games going down tonight. First up is the Big 12’s TCU Horned Frogs traveling to face the Texas Tech Red Raiders in their house this evening on Fox Sports.

TCU Horned Frogs at Texas Tech Red Raiders

  • Point Spread: TCU +3.0, Texas Tech -3.0
  • Moneyline Odds: TCU +125, Texas Tech -145
  • Over/Under: 59.5

We’ve got Texas Tech covering here as we expect TCU to continue to struggle offensively.

South Alabama Jaguars at Troy Trojans

  • Point Spread: South Alabama +3.5, Troy -3.5
  • Moneyline Odds: South Alabama +150, Troy -175
  • Over/Under: 45.0

At 7:30 PM, a cross-state Alabama rivalry gets underway where you can toss the point spreads out the window. We’re siding with Troy for the cover simply because they are playing in their home stadium. The game can be seen on ESPN2.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Duke Blue Devils

  • Point Spread: Wake +12.5, Duke -12.5
  • Moneyline Odds: Wake +360, Duke -500
  • Over/Under: 45.0

The first set of College Football Playoffs rankings was released yesterday, but none of the six teams were featured in the list of the current 25 best NCAAF programs. The Duke Blue Devils have dropped two games against the Florida State Seminoles and Notre Dame Fighting Irish but fell out of contention after a devastating shutout loss to the Louisville Cardinals.

Tonight at 7:30 PM on ESPN, Duke will kickoff against ACC rival Wake Forest, where the Blue Devils are favored to rout the Demon Deacons by 12.5 points at home.

Despite the large spread, we’re picking Duke to cover and get back on their winning track against an inferior opponent.
