UFL Teams Rumored To Be On The Move For The 2026 Season

black UFL logoThe United Football League is gearing up for its third season in 2026, but some significant changes could be on the way before kickoff.

Word on the street is that the league’s planning to shake things up by relocating four teams. Reports suggest the teams on the move are all from the USFL division of the league: the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats, and Michigan Panthers.

According to sources, the UFL is eyeing new homes in Louisville or Lexington (Kentucky), Boise (Idaho), Columbus (Ohio), and either Orlando or Tampa Bay (Florida). Nothing official yet, but the league’s trying to freshen things up and tap into new fan bases.

The United Football League says it’s still in planning mode for the 2026 season, but that hasn’t stopped relocation rumors from swirling. While the league hasn’t confirmed any moves, it hasn’t ruled out the idea.

“We look ahead every year, but right now there’s nothing official to share,” a UFL spokesperson told the media, brushing off what they called “unauthorized speculation.”

Still, things are shifting behind the scenes. According to UFL News Hub’s Mike Mitchell, the league hasn’t yet made any decisions, but it’s leaning more toward relocating teams rather than expanding.

UFL Seeks New Talent With European Showcase

The United Football League is also branching out beyond U.S. borders and heading to Switzerland this October to scout talent from across Europe. The goal is to identify driven and skilled athletes who are ready to compete in the next UFL season.

This showcase gives international players a chance to showcase their skills in front of league coaches, executives, and scouts. Based on their performance, they could be added to the UFL’s player pool and even picked up by teams as free agents in the future.

Betting On UFL Teams

There are numerous ways you can bet on UFL teams, including future odds, game lines, and props. During the offseason, odds are scarce, but with teams rumored to be relocating, we expect to see some futures and props for the new teams in the coming months.

The UFL season typically runs from March to June, but rumors suggest that the 2026 season could begin later, as the league is debating pushing back the start date. This year, the league saw ratings drop as viewers tuned into other sporting events, including the NCAA’s March Madness tournament.
